The herb Marshmallow is also in Holy Tea

Used for Sore Throat and Stomach Upsets!
Marshmallow, with it’s healing and soothing properties, has been highly valued through history for treating asthma, bronchitis, coughs, laryngitis, whooping-cough and emphysema. It’s highly regarded for it’s expectorant properties and ability to bind and eliminate toxins, thus, allowing the body to heal itself. The mucilage soothes the irritation in your throat and helps you stop coughing. When pitted against two other remedies in an Eastern European study of cough suppressants, marsh mallow outperformed both. In Germany, teas containing marshmallow are commonly sold for this purpose.

An attractive hardy perennial, marshmallow can be found growing wild in marshy ground, especially near the coast. It reaches a height of 4 feet with grey green leaves that are soft and velvety to the touch and has pale pink flowers.
